This is my first time renewing my license in PA. "New Agents"

The current biennial renewal cycle with the State Real Estate Commission is from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2028. During the first biennial period that continuing education is required, a new licensee shall complete the Commission-developed 14-hour required courses for new licensees in satisfaction of the continuing education requirement. (49 Pa. Code §35.384(b)) This means licensees must complete the New Agent General Module and either the New Agent Residential or New Agent Commercial Module before they can renew their license by the deadline May 31, 2028. At the May 5, 2026, meeting of the Real Estate Commission, pursuant to 49 PA Code §35.384(b), the Commission voted to impose a continuing education requirement for the 2026-2028 renewal period. The requirement is that a minimum of 2 (two) hours of the required 14 hours of continuing education must be taken in the following topic: Protecting Consumer’s Real Property, Personal Property and Information. New licensees who are renewing for the first time are exempt from this one-time requirement and are still required to complete the mandatory courses for new licensees pursuant to 49 PA Code §35.384(b). They must complete the general module plus one practice specific module, either the Residential Module or the Commercial Module. Mandatory CE classes will start in 2027. I am a REALTOR member. What required courses do the National Association of Realtors have?

The National Association of REALTORS® requires members to complete at minimum 2 hours of fair housing training and 2.5 hours of ethics training, meeting specific learning objectives and criteria, within three-year cycles. The current required education period is January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2027.  RAMP members should take our courses available livestream and in-person.
