ABOUT RAMP

THE MISSION

The REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh’s mission is to protect private property rights, enhance the professional and ethical conduct of our members, and to be the recognized voice of real estate in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

THE VISION

To vigorously advocate on behalf of our REALTOR® members, the real estate industry, and the real estate consumer.

A PROUD HISTORY

Since 1911, the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh has served real estate professionals and the community as western Pennsylvania's most effective voice for private property and industry professionalism.

RAMP, which was originally known as the Pittsburgh Real Estate Board, began with 30 members and has since grown to include over 3,200 residential and commercial REALTORS®.

The organization was a pioneer from the beginning. It was founded just three years after the National Association of REALTORS® and preceded the institution of real estate licensing in Pennsylvania by more than a decade.

Since then, the association has remained at the forefront of public policy and member advocacy. With full-time government affairs and education programs, RAMP is uniquely positioned to provide its members with the tools they need to do business successfully and ethically. The association delivers a five-part benefit package to its members: Government advocacy, top-quality career education, protection of professional ethics, discounted products and services, and regular industry events for REALTORS® to network and learn together.

By shaping legislation and preparing REALTORS® to serve their clients more effectively, RAMP has delivered the American Dream to five generations of Pittsburgh-area property owners — and we're fighting to keep that dream alive today.
