Local REALTOR is Finalist for NAR Recognition

Each year, REALTOR Magazine, the official publication of the National Association of REALTORS, solicits applications from the youngest generation of REALTORS. Those applicants vie for recognition in the annual “30 Under 30” list. 2020 marks the 20th year for the list and we are pleased to let you know a Pittsburgher has been chosen as a top 50 finalist. From this point, those 50 finalists are now subject to online voting to be named the Web Choice Award winner and guarantee their spot in the final 30.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Helen Cestra earned her Pennsylvania real estate license in 2015. A graduate of John Carroll University, Ms. Cestra earned a Masters Degree in Communications Management with a concentration in Public Relations.

Her real estate career is thriving. She is a member of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services’ prestigious Very Best of the Best in 2019. Her 2019 West Penn MLS ranking is #99. And, this isn’t her first “30 Under 30”, Pittsburgh Business Times recognized her on their list recently.

“I have really found a niche and specialty with first time buyers, but I service all generations and love helping everyone no matter the stage of life find or sell their home,” she said. “I also love helping clients relocating to Pittsburgh. Helping them explore the city and find a spot to call home is always fun!”

Helen’s charitable endeavours include being a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 50 Finest Alum; serves on the Board of Directors of Family House; co-chair of her office’s fundraising efforts for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh (the top fundraising office in the entire company two years running); and is currently chairing the 2020 Medallion Ball, an event held to raise money for St. Lucy’s Auxiliary to the Blind and its benefactor Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh.

On being a finalist in this national recognition, Helen says, “It is truly an honor to be included in the likes of these other inspiring agents from across the country, especially in this 20th anniversary class. Just to be selected as one of the 50 finalist is exciting and to represent not only the city of Pittsburgh, but the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Member is an honor in itself!”
