Leaders Take Oath, Awardees Honored

RAMP members and guests gathered at the historic Duquesne Club in Downtown Pittsburgh on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 to celebrate the installation of our 2025 leadership team. And, they recognized individuals who make an impact on our industry.

Your leadership team includes President Michelle Senko, President-Elect Dale Swanton, and Secretary-Treasurer Brian Larson. The Oath of Office was administered by 2025 PAR President-Elect David Dean.

The awards program commenced at 6:00 pm with the presentation of the 2024 Affiliate of the Year award. Introducing the honoree was Beth Fruehstorfer of Farmers National Bank. Beth was the recipient of the award for 2023. Our recipient for 2024 is Jessica Blake of First National Bank. Jessica is the current Affiliate Committee Chair and represents the Affiliate Committee on the RAMP Board of Directors. Ms. Blake held that position in 2024 also. Thomas Ceponis, President Emeritus of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services was recognized as the Lifetime Achievement honoree. Tom has been very active with RAMP throughout his career. He served on many RAMP, PAR, and NAR committees, and served as RAMP President in 1997.

The Community Service Award was presented to Hollie Hooper of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services. Hollie participates in almost every community service project that RAMP offers. Whether it is planting the flowers in the community flower garden in Mt. Washington or collecting winter clothing items for the less fortunate, we can count on Hollie to be there when needed.

The Richard J. Stampahar REALTOR Active in Politics award is presented to a REALTOR who works with the Association’s advocacy efforts in the political arena. They work with legislative leaders and help with raising funds for REALTORS Political Action Committee (RPAC). Political advocacy is a vital function of the Association to help protect our industry, consumers, and private property rights. Our honoree this year is Peter Sebock of Clear Choice Enterprises. Pete is very active with the RAMP Government Affairs Committee.

Each year, the outgoing president of the association has an opportunity to honor a person that may have impacted their career or life by presenting the President’s Award. 2024 RAMP President David Onufer selected a very important person in his life, his husband, Paul Purdy. Paul’s support over the last few years provided a great opportunity for David to thrive serving in a leadership role at RAMP. Paul is very appreciated.

Finally, the most anticipated award of the evening was presented by 2023 REALTOR of the Year honoree Jim Jarrett. Jim described the next honoree as someone who not only served the association in a leadership role but strives for excellence in commercial and residential real estate. In addition to being an officer and president of RAMP, our recipient simultaneously was very active with the PA/NJ/DE Chapter of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member.) A very hearty congratulations to the 2024 REALTOR of the Year, Dominic Janidas of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty.

Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Congratulations to all our honorees. We know their dedication to the association and the real estate industry serves as inspiration for their peers.
