The instructor uses a deal-driven, property-type focused approach to negotiating and drafting commercial real estate Purchase and Sale Agreements (PSAs) and Options to Purchase. The course walks through key issues for common commercial asset classes—green-field, brown-field, industrial, flex, retail, multi-family, hotel, and office—and ties those issues to practical due diligence steps and contract provisions. Emphasis is on spotting risk, structuring practical solutions, and clarifying how the roles and duties of licensees and attorneys intersect in the negotiation process.
