BECOME AN ACCREDITED BUYER’S REPRESENTATIVE
Unlock your potential as a buyer’s agent with the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation. Gain advanced insights and develop skills that set you apart, enhancing your marketability and empowering you to confidently deliver exceptional service to homebuyers.
FIVE STEPS TO EARN YOUR ABR® Designation
1.) Complete this official two-day ABR® Designation Course.
2.) Complete one additional qualifying elective course. This elective course can be taken at any time, either before of after completing the ABR® Designation Course. View Elective Options
3.) Confirm that you have completed five (5) transactions solely as a buyer’s representative (no dual agency). This can include up to two leases, and these transactions do not need to fall within a specific period of time.
4.) Submit your ABR® designation application.
5.) Maintain your designation with membership in good standing with the Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
- Your first year of ABR® membership is free and begins when you complete the ABR® Designation Course—not when you apply.
- Your second year is prorated based on the month of course completion.
- From the third year onward, annual dues are $110.
