Community Service Committee – Food Bank

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank asks that all volunteers register at least 10 days in advance so they can plan appropriately and ensure that everyone has signed their safety waivers before arriving.

Activity: Volunteer Engagement Center: Inspecting, sorting, and repackaging produce for distribution. Please bring additional layers of clothing as many of the projects take place in The Cool Zone, a 55°F temperature-controlled area that helps with processing fresh produce.

Requirements: Closed-toe shoes are required. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
