Taught by Mike Suley, CRB, CRS, CPE.
Classes will be Mondays and Wednesdays only from 9 AM – 4 PM – there will be six classes with a final exam on the last session from 9 AM – noon.
This is the required pre-license course, Real Estate Practice (45 hours/3 credits).
The instructor will be teaching the following concepts:
1. An introduction to the real estate business
2. Laws and regulations affecting real estate practice
3. Ethics, Antitrust, Fair Housing Laws, broker salesperson issues
4. Agency law
5. Kinds of agency relationships
6. Compensation and fees
REQUIRED BOOK: The required book is Modern Real Estate Practice in PA – 14th edition (the same book used for Real Estate Fundamentals). Please read Units 13 and 14 for the first class.
