RAMP Committees
The REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh is governed and operated by its members for the benefit of its members. As a member, you have a say in the association and are encouraged to participate as your time and talents allow. After reviewing the following list, please contact RAMP office or fill out this form to express your committee preference.
- Affiliate Committee
Responsible for fostering mutually beneficial relationships among real estate-related industries. This committee is comprised of representatives from businesses engaged in a wide range of activities associated with real estate and real estate transactions. The purpose to develop cooperative programs that enhance the success of their respective businesses.

- Andron Epiphanon Fraternity
Responsible for recognizing RAMP members who have been highly successful in the sale, listing and leasing of real estate and have demonstrated excellence in their profession.

- Annual Banquet Committee
Responsible for the annual event to celebrate the installation of officers and to recognize accomplishments of AEF members, the recipients of the Life Time Achievement and Distinguished Service awards, the recipient of the REALTOR® of the Year award.

- Budget/Finance Committee
Responsible for overseeing the financial operation of the organization. This committee reviews financial statements, monitors income and expenses, prepares budgets and makes financial recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- By-Laws Committee
Responsible for the governance documents of the Association, which include the By-Laws and Rules and Regulations. This committee periodically reviews these documents and recommends to the Board of Directors any necessary amendments.
- Capital Campaign & Building Committee
Responsible for developing and implementing annual campaigns to generate outside sources of revenue. This committee's activities are essential given that outside sources of revenue are needed to minimize dues increases while also maintaining services to members.
- Education Committee
Responsible for enhancing the professional development of members. This committee coordinates educational activities within the organization and develops programs and services to supplement the education, training and information that are available to members from resources outside the Association.
- Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity Committee
Responsible for promoting equal opportunity in real estate and enhancing practices in a culturally diverse environment. It is responsible for activities under the Fair Housing Partnership Agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding and provides programs and services to help members protect the rights of persons covered under fair housing, ADA and civil rights laws.
- Facilities Management Committee
Responsible for maintaining and improving RAMP's physical headquarters at 1427 W. Liberty Avenue. This committee also participates in fundraising efforts related to property improvements.
- Government Affairs Committee
Responsible for one of the key elements of the Association's mission, that is to protect the right to own, transfer and use real property. This committee monitors legislation and rule making and engages in activities to protect private property rights and the members' business. The committee is also responsible for overseeing the activities of the Government Affairs Department and its fundraising efforts. Staff Contact: Jennifer Cloonan
- Homes Guide by REALTORS® Committee
Responsible for overseeing the publication of the Homes Guide by REALTORS®. This committee monitors the vendor contract and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors to ensure that the publication provides essential benefits to the member-users.

- Professionalism Task Force
This special initiative of 2007 President Anthony J. Cimino exists to create a set of action recommendations for enchancing and showcasing the professionalism of Pittsburgh-area REALTORS®.
- Professional Standards and Arbitration Committee
Responsible for a key priority of the Association, that is the ethical conduct of its members. This committee holds hearings regarding alleged violations of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and the arbitration of monetary disputes between REALTORS®. According to the By Laws, the committee is comprised of 15 members who serve 3-year, staggered terms. Five new members are appointed each year. Staff Contact: Jim Bindschadler
- R-Day Committee
Responsible for conducting the Annual R-Day conference. It oversees all of the activities associated with producing a mini-convention day for the Association. Although primarily an educational conference, other activities of the organization are combined along with a vendor exhibition to make it one of the organization's most successful annual events.

- Strategic Planning Committee
Responsible for the Association's strategic planning activities. It formulates plans and oversees their implementation to ensure that the organization meets the contemporary needs of members and utilizes its human and financial resources in cost-efficient and effective ways to provide stability and growth in the organization.
