ELAINE S. RODMAN, Voter Registration Chair

Did your clients leave something behind at their old house or apartment? It could be their right to vote. By failing to register in a new county (or to change an address within the same county), voters could show up at the polls and find themselves off the books.
Perform a service for your clients and your community: Promote democracy at the closing table. Bring pre-addressed, pre-stamped voter registration forms to every signing.
It's easier than you think, and it's a customer-service touch your clients won't forget.
What to do
1) Supply yourself with a stack of voter registration forms. Click here to download a copy online or contact RAMP's government affairs department to request forms in the mail.
2) For extra effect, include a stamped and pre-addressed envelope. Contact information for local county voter offices is listed below.
3) Bring enough forms and envelopes for every resident of the household who's 18 or older.
4) Encourage the clients to complete the forms right away so you can drop them in the mail.
5) You're done! Your clients will receive their new voter registration cards within several weeks.
